MESSAPIA TYPEFACE
Progettazione di una famiglia tipografica non convenzionale, presso l'istituto BAUER di Milano per il corso di Type Design 2018.
Messapia era l'antico territorio appartenuto alle popolazioni illiriche corrispondente alla Murgia meridionale e al Salento (province di Lecce, di Brindisi e parte della provincia di Taranto). La denominazione originaria del territorio è incerta, in quanto quello di Messapia (forse "Terra tra i due mari") fu il nome dato al territorio dagli storici greci. Le prime attestazioni della civiltà messapica risalgono all'VIII secolo d.C. Dopo il 272 a.C rientrarono nel territorio di Roma, pur mantenendo in parte caratteristiche proprie.
